New Jurassic World Film In Development, Might Be Going In A New Direction – Report
Universal Pictures is working on a new film in the Jurassic World franchise, with veteran screenwriter David Koepp on board. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Koepp, known for his contributions to the original Jurassic Park and its 1997 sequel, will be writing the script for this project.
Unnamed sources indicate that the project and screenplay are both already “far enough along… in a well-liked shape” that there is the potential of a possible 2025 release.
No director has been appointed yet. However, reports suggest that Frank Marshall, the experienced producer of the Jurassic World trilogy, will be returning as a producer, alongside Patrick Crowley. Steven Spielberg, the mastermind behind the original Jurassic Park, will serve as executive producer through his Amblin Entertainment banner.
