Everything is not okey dokey with Lucy at the end of the first season for Amazon Prime Video’s Fallout. Actress Ella Purnell has opened up about what’s going on with the Vault-Dweller in the finale and why they actually reshot one gut-wrenching scene in particular. Speaking to GQ, Purnell revealed that how Lucy reacts to ending her mother’s life played out pretty differently in the initial take for the Fallout season finale. “We originally shot me killing my mum as a really emotional moment; there were a lot of tears and wailing,” the actress said. “And it just didn’t feel right. We felt like, if she’s gonna get up and go into the wasteland, she needs to be a changed woman, and maybe her grief needs to give way to something harder.”
