By default, you should have access to the Makeshift Hunting Knife, which can be crafted if you have 3x Rocks, 3x Sticks, and 6x Plant Fiber.After building a Simple Workbench, you can craft a Simple Hunting Knife, which should be used on higher-level enemies.
