Overwatch 2 Season 13 Patch Notes Bring Big Changes To Sombra, Tank Updates
Overwatch 2 Season 13, Spellbinder, is now live, and brings with it a number of significant tweaks to the game’s roster of heroes.
As detailed in the official patch notes, the hero who received the biggest changes is Sombra, whose Stealth mechanic has been reworked. Sombra will now gain Stealth for five seconds after activating Translocator, though hacking enemies or taking damage will no longer end Stealth but instead will temporarily reveal her. Blizzard has also added back her Opportunist passive, allowing her to see critically injured enemies through walls and deal more damage to hacked targets.
In a blog post going over the update, game director Aaron Keller said the changes were in order to make it so Sombra can’t take any position she wants in Stealth while giving her a new gameplay loop that “increases her lethality.”
