Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Celebrates 3rd Birthday With Teaser For New Stuff
Don’t forget to wish the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service a happy, happy birthday. The add-on turns three years old–known as the Triforce year–and Nintendo is teasing new stuff for members over the next year.
In a Nintendo newsletter (seen below), the company asks: “What excitement will the next year bring for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members? Stay tuned to find out!” Now this holds extra intrigue, since the company is about to launch a mysterious Switch online test soon. Only Expansion Pack subscribers were able to sign up for the playtest, which will take place October 23 through November 5.
Nintendo sent out this newsletter to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion pack members, containing the passage above. It teases new stuff for the service over the next year.
It’s unknown exactly what Nintendo is testing here. And Switch players chosen to check things out shouldn’t talk about whatever they see or do, sort of like a Fight Club. However, no one should be surprised if info does spill out once participants download and check out the “test software.”
