If you decide you want to play physical games down the line, there’s an official Disc Drive attachment for $80. The Disc Drive is also compatible with the upcoming PS5 Pro, the more powerful 2TB PS5 console that releases November 7. The PS5 Pro only comes in an all-digital configuration.

If you already know you’ll play NBA 2K25 on your new console, it makes sense to opt for the PS5 Slim Digital bundle deal that includes the newest basketball sim from 2K Sports.
