PlayStation State of Play live coverage – tracking the latest PS5 leaks, rumors, and predictions

The PlayStation State of Play broadcast for September 2024 is almost here, and we’re expecting big things as Sony Interactive Entertainment promises updates on over 20 upcoming PS5 games

That’s welcome news, because we know precious little about the PS5 lineup for the rest of this year and beyond. We’re expecting the latest PlayStation stream to run for around 30 minutes, although we’re still waiting for more clarity on how the showcase will divide between PS5 and PS VR2 games. Either way, we’ll be here reporting on all of the latest news when the time comes.

What time is PlayStation State of play?

Date: September 24, 2024
Time: 3pm PT, 6pm ET, 11pm BST, 12am CEST
Streaming on: YouTube and Twitch

While we wait for the PS5 State of Play showcase to begin, I’m going to be be getting you up-to-speed on all the latest surrounding the PS5 Pro – expect the new system to feature prominently, with pre-orders set to go live on September 25. I’m also going to put some PlayStation State of Play predictions out into the world… because somebody has got to manifest the return of SOCOM, right?

There’s plenty of time for all of that, so stick with GR+ as we countdown to the latest State of Play broadcast. And don’t forget to connect with us on the GamesRadar+ Twitter and Facebook pages to share what you hope to see.

Hello there, and welcome to the GamesRadar+ live coverage of the PS5 State of Play for September 2024.

With little under four hours to go before the anticipated PlayStation stream kicks off, I’m going to be running you through key predictions and getting you up-to-speed on everything you need to know!

While we always need to take any PlayStation State of Play leaks with a grain of salt – I promise you right now that every single list that’s floating around on social media right now is false – this one is confirmed: Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered.

The legendary Soul Reaver series is set to make a return on December 10, and will be available for digital download on PS5 and PS4. This doesn’t replace my burning desire for a full series reboot, but it will be fun to return to this world with remastered graphics and key quality-of-life improvements.

In fact, if you’re looking for a little more information on Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered I’ve got you covered. (And by “I’ve got you covered” I actually mean “Dustin Bailey has got you covered” as he’s written a lovely news story covering the leaked announcement in greater detail.
