Switch 2 Images Have Allegedly Leaked, Suggesting Powerful Leap Forward For Nintendo

Unverified images of what’s claimed to be the Nintendo Switch successor have appeared online, revealing a console that isn’t a radical departure from the current Switch console design. The images suggest that the Switch will sport a bigger eight-inch screen, Joy-Cons that use a magnetic attachment, and significantly improved hardware in comparison to the current model.

The Switch 2 is claimed to have 12GB of RAM–up from the 4GB inside the current Switch–HDMI 2.1 support, and an internal storage capacity of 256GB. As for the controllers, the leaked design shows off revised SL/SR buttons and a different layout for LEDs. Nintendo has said nothing at all about what to expect from its next system, apart from how it is aiming to “surprise and delight” fans when it is officially revealed.
