Watch Colin Farrell Transform Into The Penguin
HBO has released a behind-the-scenes video showing Colin Farrell’s extensive makeup to become Oz Cobb AKA The Penguin for the upcoming TV show. As you can see in the video, it was a lengthy and involved process to get into character, as people applied Farrell’s teeth, hair, and makeup, before getting him into the bodysuit.
“It was so intense and it was so exciting,” Farrell says in the video. The timing of the video’s release is curious, as quotes from Farrell made the rounds earlier this week that were less-than-positive about the makeup and costume process for the TV show.

Farrell said he enjoyed playing the character, but by the time the shoot was over, he was happy to be done. “When I finished I was like, ‘I never want to put that f**king suit and that f**king head on again,'” he said.
