The Poltergeist House Is For Sale And It’s Preserved In 1980s Goodness
One of the most iconic horror movie settings is officially on the market for the first time in 45 years. The Freeling house in the 1982 classic Poltergeist is for sale and the insides have been preserved, so it looks like it did in the movie.
Lauren Murdock of Equity Union announced the availability on Wednesday, confirming the original owners of the house are selling, and is going for $1.175 million.
According to the property description, “the formal dining room leads to the infamous kitchen where fans of the movie will love to see it’s still in its original form”. The home has four bedrooms, and 2.5 baths and is over 2,373 sq. feet. of living space on a 16,000 sq. foot lot.
