If The Boys Were A Video Game, It Might Look Like This

Prime Video’s The Boys TV series wrapped up its fourth season this week, and the season went out with a bang. Now, the show’s creator and showrunner has provided a peek behind the curtain of how the most climatic part of the finale was created, and it’s getting people talking about the possibility of a video game based on The Boys. Major spoilers follow below.

Eric Kripke revealed that the team works with Cncpt Studio to create detailed CG pre-visualizations for major scenes prior to filming, and this was the case for the season finale. For the season finale of The Boys, Kripke enlisted Cncpt’s help for the pivotal sequence where Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) launches tentacles out of his chest and uses them to rip the would-be president Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) in half. Cncpt’s pre-vis of this sequence is pretty impressive in its own right, featuring all the main characters and their movements from the scene in pretty solid detail.
