Stranger Things Season 5 Teaser Reveals New Cast Members
By the time Stranger Things Season 5 arrives, it will be nearly nine years since the series debuted on Netflix. That’s something Millie Bobbie Brown brings up when in the latest Stranger Things Season 5 behind-the-scenes video. “I started when I was ten, I’m now turning 20 years old,” said Brown, who plays Eleven in the series. She’s not the only child cast member on the show to have grown up before our eyes. And there are some new cast members who are joining the series as well.
Terminator star Linda Hamilton is the most prominent new cast member glimpsed in the video above, but she isn’t the only one. The video also briefly shows three new additions to the cast: Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, and Alex Breaux. Connelly is a newcomer, and he is shown next to Priah Ferguson’s Erica Sinclair. Presumably his character and Fisher’s will be connected with Erica because the performers are roughly the same age. Beyond that, we don’t have any details about the new characters who have been added to the mix.
What we can infer from the video is that the core group of kids will be in high school during the final season, which makes their characters only a few years younger than the actors who are portraying them. It also appears that life in Hawkins is relatively normal despite the Upside Down bleeding into our world at the end of Stranger Things Season 4.
