A Grand Theft Auto Cheat Code Has Appeared In An Unexpected Place
Terrence Shannon Jr., a rookie for the Minnesota Timberwolves, sports a classic video game cheat code tattoo on his left shooting forearm. The first-round draft pick has the PlayStation inputs for infinite ammo inked on his body from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
The official Minnesota Timberwolves account on X (formerly known as Twitter) confirmed the GTA cheat code tattoo after another user asked about it on the social media platform. Shannon Jr. is currently playing in the NBA Summer League after being drafted from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

This isn’t the first time a basketball player has been spotted with ink for the GTA cheat code. For instance, Kotaku reported that Indiana University guard Devonte Green had the infinite ammo tattoo back in 2019. In fact, Green commented on the Timberwolves post, calling himself a “trendsetter.” In a fun coincidence, both Shannon Jr. and Green played in the Big Ten Conference in college.
