Battlefield Crosses Over With Dead Space, Bringing Necromorphs To The Military FPS
EA’s Battlefield and Dead Space franchises are crossing over as part of an in-game event for Battlefield 2042. A limited-time event, Outbreak, is coming to Battlefield 2042 and will challenge teams of players to work together to escape a laboratory overrun with Necromorphs from Dead Space.
The Outbreak event runs July 9-16. Those who participate can earn special Dead Space-themed rewards, including a weapon charm and skin, along with a new player card background and tag. You can get a glimpse of the crossover event in the video below.

EA is also selling a new Dead Space-themed bundle in Battlefield 2042 that includes the “Marked Man” specialist outfit, three weapon skins, and other items for 2200 BFC ($20 USD).
