XDefiant’s Next Faction Is GSK From Rainbow Six Siege
The next faction coming to XDefiant was revealed during Ubisoft Forward, and it’s GSK from Rainbow Six Siege. The new faction will be added as part of the Season 1 update on July 2, which will also add new modes, maps, and weapons for free.
GSK appears to have the same amount of new content as other factions, with three main characters to choose from, along with two tactical ability options and a single ultimate ability–in this case a shield. The update will also add three new maps: Clubhouse, Daytona, and Rockefeller. These maps will be spaced out, with one dropping each month over the course of the season.

There will also be new modes coming to XDefiant as well, with Capture the Flag announced for Season 1. Ubisoft confirmed that Team Deathmatch would be arriving in a few weeks, likely during Season 1. Ubisoft also teased a Search-and-Destroy mode coming later down the line, but no timeline was given. There will be three free new weapons, new ranked-play rewards, and a new battle pass filled with cosmetic items to unlock. Anyone who plays a match in the next 48 hours will get the free Eruption weapon skin for three weapons.
