State Of Decay 3 Gameplay Teaser Revealed At Xbox Showcase

It’s been years since State of Decay 3 was first revealed, and since then we’ve seen nothing about it–like, at all. But from the 2024 Xbox Games Showcase, we finally got another look, including glimpses of what appears to be gameplay for the first time.

The trailer emphasized the co-op nature of the game and the open-world setting that allows for emergent stories to be created by players surviving the end of the world together. A release date, or even window, didn’t accompany the reveal, but it was reiterated that the game will launch directly into Game Pass whenever it arrives.
