Fallout Creators Tease Big Season 2 Plans For Lucy

Prime Video’s adaptation of Fallout hit the platform over the spring and became an instant hit. Some questions were circling about how the series could work before the premiere. Would it be compared too much to HBO’s The Last of Us? What was the story since it’s not a direct one-to-one remake, but presented a story that takes place within the world itself? Both proved to be a non-issue with huge ratings and great acclaim. Oh, and Fallout made Walter Goggins an unintended sex symbol, yet again.

The story focuses on three very different survivors Lucy (Ella Purnell), Maximus (Aaron Moten), and the Ghoul (Walton Goggins) having to make their way through a nuclear wasteland sprinkled with heroic moments, intense violence, and a hint of humor for good measure. Now, there was a debate on what Lucy’s in-game stats would have been for the series, and the showrunners have teased some big plans for her in Season 2, which could certainly alter those numbers.

Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet talked about the lessons they’ve learned going into the next season, what lies ahead for Lucy now having to understand the truth about her reality, and how many seasons they’re aiming for.
