Risk of Rain 2 leads the June 2024 Humble Choice lineup. In this roguelite action game, players explore procedurally-generated planets, picking up randomized equipment you’ll need to survive against waves of alien monsters. GameSpot awarded Risk of Rain 2 an 8 out of 10 in our review, citing its fast-paced gameplay, near-infinite item experimentation, and excellent solo and co-op modes as great reasons to pick up the game.
If that isn’t enough alien horde blasting for you, there’s Warhammer 40K: Battlesector. This turn-based tactical combat game faithfully recreates the Warhammer 40K tabletop wargame in a modernized PC game format. The base game offers a 20-mission single-player campaign where players lead an army of Space Marines against the insectoid Tyranids, and a skirmish mode where players can play as either faction in competitive matches against bots or other players. While not included with the Humble Choice bundle, there are also Warhammer 40K: Battlesector DLC packs available that add more playable factions and game modes.
