YouTube Introduces New “Playables” Game Library

YouTube has announced the introduction of over 75 games to its platform, all of which can be played in-browser or via the YouTube mobile app. Over the past few months, the game library–referred to by YouTube as “Playables”–has been made available to select users in certain markets, but the company announced this week Playables is being expanded.

Playables can be accessed via a user’s browser or iOS device (no word yet on Android compatibility), and the current selection consists of simple-yet-engaging games similar to those found on Google Play and the App Store. From classics like chess and billiards to modern titles like Angry Birds Showdown and Tomb Of The Mask, YouTube’s Playables collection has games spanning multiple genres.

Unfortunately, even after the official announcement regarding their introduction, not everyone can access the games yet, but YouTube has assured users that the new feature will be accessible for all in the near future.
