Xbox President Says Every Game From Its Studios Will Launch Day-One On Game Pass
While we already know that Microsoft’s first-party games are included in Game Pass on launch day, Xbox leadership has once again reiterated that fact.
In an interview with Bloomberg at Bloomberg Tech in San Francisco, Xbox president Sarah Bond said, “You’re going to see some more really big games going into Game Pass later this year” The interviewer interjected to say “from Activision?” and Bond replied, “Across the whole slate.”
This suggests that the next Call of Duty game will be added to Game Pass on launch day, even though there are reports that Microsoft is internally debating on whether to go down that route. Some theorize that putting future Call of Duty releases onto Game Pass could negatively impact the game’s sales.
