You can find the Carpenter by heading to his specific Ancient Vault, which is all the way to the southeast of the map. Beware since you need to traverse an area that’s blanketed by the Shroud. In fact, the ruins that you’ll eventually enter is covered in deadly mists, too.

How to reach the Ancient Vault – Carpenter
The Enshrouded Carpenter’s Ancient Vault is best reached by starting from your initial base and heading directly east. You should reach a cliffside area, whereupon you can activate the Glider to cover as much ground as possible. Just make sure that you land safely before your stamina runs out.
