Cyberpunk 2077 Free Trial Begins This Week, Lets You Play For Five Hours
CD Projekt Red has announced a free trial for Cyberpunk 2077, and it’s going live soon. The free trial for the RPG will be available March 28-31 across PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
During the free period, users can play for a total of five hours. There is no general subscription requirement on PlayStation and Xbox, except in Germany where PS5 owners without a PS Plus subscription have to pay a feel of €0.15 due to Sony’s policies in the region.
A FAQ for the free trial also confirms that it can be played only once–after five hours, the trial is over and cannot be restarted. All save progress from the trial carries forward if players decide to buy the game outright. The FAQ also confirms this trial is for the base game only, not the Phantom Liberty expansion.
