Stardew Valley Players Can Finally Chug Down Some Mayonnaise Soon

At long last, Stardew Valley’s upcoming 1.6 update will allow players to chug down a delicious jar of mayonnaise. That’s according to creator Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone, who has been releasing a trickle of information for the big update coming to the PC version of the game this week. After confirming a seven-day “honeymoon” period for newlywed characters in Stardew Valley to prevent them from spending a week in bed, Barone’s new tweet simply reads “You can now drink mayonnaise.”

Is it a good idea? Possibly not, but knocking back a jug of Kraft Mayo digitally is probably far healthier than doing it in real life. Update 1.6 for Stardew Valley was first announced in April 2023 and will roll out on PC on March 19, with more recent updates revealing just how substantial this patch will be.

New festivals, eight-player co-op, and over 100 new lines of dialogue will be added to Stardew Valley, allowing new and returning players to enjoy even more content inside of the cozy farming simulator. There’s no release date yet for console and mobile platforms, but it is expected to arrive soon after the PC update goes live.
